Sunday, June 26
Good morning,
It is now 5:30 AM on Sunday. Dad slept from 3:30 pm yesterday until now. Actually he is still sleeping, but he did talk to us for a few minutes. This could possibly be the longest he has ever slept in his life! But he is feeling much better.
After Molly got back from Red Square last night, she went and got him a snack from, wait, let me check the schedule--I think it would have been the Evening Presentation time. But he only ate the cookie and then fell back to sleep. Molly and I nibbled on the rest!
There are no photos on this post. The two of them are buried under the softest, thickest duvets and basically look like white lumps. Two days here is not going to be enough, it will take us at least a week to properly use all the 'amenities' this place has to offer! We sent clothes to be washed--they came back about 3 hours later. We are all now clean! At least our clothes.
Dave and Sylvia are safely back in Indianapolis. Tired, but home. They enjoyed Tokyo, but found navigating the city on their own was tricky. One of the perks of this trip--just show up in the hotel lobby and be taken wherever you are headed!
I seem to be the only one awake here. Maybe I will go check out the "Snacks in the Conference Room" . . .
