Xi’an to Beijing
Easy day. Our flight left at 11:30, but all of us were up early, as usual. Dad beating us all at 4 AM. We were met at the Beijing airport by our guide, and whisked off to the hotel. We were really glad to see that driving in Beijing is NOT like driving in Xi’an. There are actually lanes marked, and the drivers stop for red lights! At one point, on our way to the Xi’an airport, Dave noticed that the lanes were not even marked. Then he looked at me and said, “Well, I guess there’s no reason to waste money on the paint!”
After arriving we took off for a walk. Found a place called “Drunk and Coffee”. Odd couple, but the beer was good. The rest are playing Yahtze and I’m watching to be sure no one cheats. Haha. Not much watching since I am typing, and about to crochet some more. Yeah. I’m on a project. Molly taught me how and since I can’t get my Korean dramas here, having the project is a good alternative.
