This morning we had a 1/2 day tour of the Gorge. I think I'll let the pictures do the talking. But knowing me, they will probably talk a lot. Oh, and you'll notice they are out of order. No time now to sort them, but I will later.
We had a short break at the hotel, and caught the shuttle to the Hualien airport. We are waiting now for our flight.

With hard hats, heading down the Swallow Grotto Trail. Mine had trouble staying on.
Part of the Swallow Grotto Trail
Dave and Molly--happy siblings on the Swallow Grotto Trail!
From Swallow Grotto Trail
Cimu Bridge. Cimu means Loving Mother in Chinese
We're at the Orchard Pavilion near the Cimu Bridge
Molly and I on a suspension bridge
Dad and Sylvia on the trail
Our group and Hank, our tour guide. The end of the line. We couldn't get closer to Changchung Shrine due to rocks falling. We thought that was a good enough reason.
Another pretty view. Don't ask me where--not really sure--but somewhere in Taroko Gorge.
On the bus back to the hotel.
Still on the bus. But what beautiful country
At the Hualien airport. Handicapped watermelons? Huge though and definitely would need a wheelchair to move them. Or maybe you'd need a wheelchair AFTER you moved one?
Advise Hank to give the peace sign palms forward! ;)
